Hi Terry and startomatic;
I noticed on the picture that you put on that the spring has tension but the spring loaded pin is only about half way in.If i put any tension on mine the pin will go all the way in.the governor spring seems like it overpowers the spring loaded pin and the governor moves proportionally to the throttle linkage.This makes it difficult to stabalize at lower revs.I adjusted it so it was half way in like yours but the revs would go too high and if i backed the throttle off manually it would stall.I can only get two main positions too fast or stall.If i controll the linkage with my finger with the governor linkage backed off i can get it down lower but it is so touchy that the slightest movement on the throttle will make it rev up or stall.If i find a fix for this i will be sure to let you guys know.

If you pm me your email i can send you the repair manual pdf for the lee 100.It's pretty much the same as the lae except for some emission changes.Also startomatic has been a great help to me.He knows his stuff.

Hello;
I have a yanmar L90 air cooled.I don't know if the L100 is exactly like mine but it should be close.If you take the bottom nut off the injector pump and remove the little plate and gasket you will see a little window.Open the throttle with the engine off and you will see the pointer on the injection pump move.There is a line marked on the bottom side of this window usually right of the center position.This is the mark they set the governor at the factory.You can check this but be sure to mark where you governor is set before trying this.Don't run the motor while the window is open.It will throw oil out.I'm having problems with mine.I can't get the low speeds.It will either rev or shut down.I have to find a solution for this.I hope this is a help.Good luck.

That looks identical to mine.What are you using the Hi pressure for.That's a big pump.I find my motor very touchy.When i move the throttle a little bit say 1/4 inch it changes the revs a lot.Could i have a different problem?

                                                                                             Thank you for your help.

Hello;
I have a L90 yanmar diesel.I took the injection pump out and i can't seem to get the throttle working properly after installing it.I tried the governor in different positions but when i move the throttle open just a bit it starts revving.One of the studs holding the injection pump down is stripped. could this be the culprit.

Thank you in advance.jim
