Does anyone know what to look for and how to order a replacement? I have the data plate off of the generator and it is all legible.

General Discussion / Capacitors to smooth out load?

Does anyone know anything about the possibility of using a bank of capacitors to smooth out the load (surge) from our washing machine? It would seem possible but would require knowledge that is beyong my knowledge. Any assistance would be appreciated.

One problem that I see right away is that there is a second starter solenoid and the starter bendix stays engaged while the engine is running.
