Title: Outback system
Post by: WGB on April 28, 2010, 11:05:11 AM
Thought I'd post some pics of the system I picked up thanks to moblebob.

I'm working on off grid project, I have my Listeroid, and Changfa clone up and running.
Wind turbine mechanical parts all done! Still need the alternator.

So this is the next step.

Well if I were to say something like "hey you big lug", I'd likely be talking about the terminal on that circuit breaker!

Battery bank wire won't be inexpensive unless you get lucky where you find it.

Good score!

Hi WGB,

I think you got the deal of a lifetime. Someday I might be lucky.

When will you have it hooked up and operating.

Hi Henry,
They pulled all the components apart to remove the system.
I have all the parts mounted.
Wired most of the AC side Saturday.
I need to pick up some 4/0 for the DC side.
I have to call with a couple question this week.
I do have enough batteries to power up the system but not run much.
I'll get a couple pics tomorrow.
