Title: Silcon DP30 E uPS
Post by: loonogs on January 24, 2010, 02:49:22 PM
Hi,
i got a silcon dp30e ups a few months back and it worked great, recently it developed a fault where the charging circuit will not charge although the inverter is still fine

Would anyone have a manual for this or point me in  a direction ?

Regards
Philip

i am not sure how to contact your ups manufacture, but
i am 99.99999% positive that they will never give you a schematic for their unit.

its one of those "if we tell you we would have to kill you" sort of thing.

even obsolete units they generally will not release schematics on, its insane in my
opinion

I think it's because they are too embarassed of their "value-engineered" design work.

Its one of those "if we tell you we won't be able to sell you this year's model" sort of thing.

It's not obsolete because it's not effective anymore, it's obsolete because they want to sell the newer models.
