Title: Metric Bolt Grades
Post by: Henry W on January 23, 2010, 04:47:52 PM
I am trying to get info on metric bolt grades 4T, 7T and 9T.

I cannot find a chart to find an equivalent bolt for 4T, 7T and 9T metric grade bolts from the metric grades 8.8, 9.8, 10.9 and 12.9.

Does anyone have anything about this.

Henry

I've no real knowledge of this, but maybe these pages can help you?

One for metric: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw#Mechanical_classifications

And one for the 'T' standard: http://myweb.dal.ca/is353832/93fsm/introduction/8standard.pdf

Maybe the last table here would help?: http://www.sizes.com/tools/bolts_metric_standards.htm
