Guys, because of the wide interest in lister/listeroids, and there being much discussion related to them
and their use, i thought perhaps some of the really good technical info could be copied here to this thread
so that in the future members could check here if all else fails and maybe find what they need to answer
a question they may have.
we should probably just use this as a repository, just copy from another thread the pertinent information
and leave out comments unless it is something to clarify or correct.
