Except for being air cooled insread of a changfa hopper cooled engine. Does not look like much difference. Again zero emissions. Sure is strange on what can enter this country and what cannot. Also comes with the same useless pulley instead of a stub shaft.

That 175FA is quite different from an R175. The R175 has an oil pump and that feeds the connecting rod big end and quite possibly the rocker arm shaft. The R175 also has an oil filter. I've never seen a 175FA up close so I dont know anything about the quality.

Check your messages.
The 175FA is an air cooled engine. The R175 is water cooled.
175FA is all cast iron and built quite well. I have the 165FA version.
Being air cooled they are a bit noisy, but they are built like a tank and should give good life.
They come in two configurations. Horizontal cylinder and 45 Deg angle cylinder.(Mine is the 45 degree) But the guts are the same.
Here is what they sound like....

... and here is a vid of the horizontal air cooler version.

I think that is a great backup generator. Simple and compact.
Nice setup veggie.
