The problem is the domain has expired... I've tried contacting Andrew about it by e-mail, and I'm hoping Bob will see these messages here ASAP....
I do have a "spare" domain to move it to, which I'll publish here if I move it.
Rest assured, the data is safe and sound! The forum will be back up just as soon as the domain is renewed. Or poached.... not sure how long it stays unavailable for after it's lapsed, I think it might be 14 days?

its been years since i got anything re the domain name or who the host is for the lister engine forum
and i am not sure who has been paying the annual payment for the domain name? that is unless it was on autopay on my debit card
and it was debited a couple years ago for a bi-annual payment, as my debit card was renewed about 2 years ago so maybe that is the issue?
i have been do busy lately i just haven't had time to do much more than keep my head up.
if memory serves me, the domain name can be reclaimed within about 30 days, but i wouldn't stretch it out.
Ade if you can give me any info about the domain host, when it was last paid, by whom? or whatever, just let me know.
if it is something that failed due to an autopay thing on my debit, just let me know who to contact and i will get it taken care of.
just isn't enough hours in the day it seems.
i will check back here tomorrow and daily until this is resolved.

It's registered through an eNom Reseller - but the actual reseller appears to be Troy's company - and Troy's been out of it for at least 10 years... Yeah, it needs renewing in the grace period (30 days max), otherwise it gets expensive to sort out & liable to be poached. I have a feeling either you or Andrew sent me the eNom details a few years ago, but my mail server exploded & I lost everything before about 2018. I've not had the details since, & Andrew vanished off the grid around the same time, 2018.
If you can get into eNom, you might be able to access the records. If you do, I suggest you update them to your e-mail address (it's still Troy's on the record), so at least you get alerts...
Let me know how you get on - if it's not going to be resolved in the next, 48h, say, I'll shift over to the backup domain.

just a heads up on the domain issue for the listerengine.com
i have contacted the powers that be, and have found out who holds the domain, however i have to provide proof that i own the rights to the domain name
as it is still registered to the original owner which seems to have dropped off the face of the planet.
it has taken a bit of digging but i found the email chain and specifically the "proof" or bill of sale from the original owner back in january of 2011 listing me as the new owner of the domain name, the forum along with all interest in rights to the listerengine.com forum.
so... tomorrow i will contact the domain carrier and provide that proof so that they can transfer the owner details over to me, and then allow me to pay the registration renewal on the listerengine.com

ok,
i have spent a couple hours on the phone with the domain carrier
and found out that they are resellers of domains, and sold the domain to another reseller
i have also found the bill of sale for the forum, the paypal receipt for payment for the domain name, forum, contents and all other interests
from the original owner.
apparently another member had the domain registered in his name and now i am not able to contact him as he does not answer the email
or rather hasn't as of yet, he may still so i guess we wait on that.
meanwhile the parent domain carrier connected me with the reseller to get this issue resolved and get the registration transferred over
to myself.
i am told that i need to give the reseller 48 hours to resolve the issue, if it remains unresolved then the parent carrier can step in
review my receipt for payment and release of interest and they can then get the domain transferred to me.
meanwhile i have asked the reseller to at least allow me to make payment so that the forum can get back online and we can work out
the kinks later. i haven't gotten an answer to that possibility as of yet.
i will be in and out all day, so i will check continually with email to see if the reseller contacts me.
as soon as i know more, i will let you all know.
please pass this along to whoever you have contact with on the listerengine forums and tell them i am working on resolving this issue.
