Title: Still alive
Post by: Tom Reed on May 25, 2020, 12:52:24 PM
Hello All, been a long time since I've been here. Still running the Listeroid for off-grid backup power, but not much since changing to LiFePo batteries. Recently I started a business to make BBQ pellets from used wine making oak https://winecountry-bbq.com . Lots of China companies making these systems which are of similar quality to their engines. I just bought a hammer mill and plan to bring a S195nm out of mothballs to power it. Planning to add a gm 10Si to it for battery charging and to power a fuel pump. Has anyone come up with a good way to mount one to run from the radiator fan belt?

Sounds intriguing.

Do you have any photos of existing systems?

Posted a couple of videos for your viewing pleasure.

The first video is of the first test run of a wood block conveyor feeding a converted chipper. the fan takes the sawdust from the outlet of the chipper and blows it through a cyclone. There is a bag in the barrel catching the sawdust.

The second one is the first test run of the trommel. It is where the pellets are cooled and where dust and small bits are removed.
