Title: Need dip stick or measurement Please
Post by: PhillipB on July 12, 2017, 01:50:58 PM
I have a Sifang S1110/1115 And I badly need a  a Dip Stick. According to the manual, part number is 195 01101-2
since it begins with 195 i think it is probably the same as the 195 engine model.

OR

If someone could measure the distance from bottom of threads to each of the oil level marks it would be a life saver, or at least an engine saver.
Hurricane season is Here.

Thank you in advance

Sorry Phillip! I just found your post today, the 15th! I will get pics and measurements from both my 1100 (bored out 195) and my 1115 and try to post them tonight.

I have compared the sticks out of the 3 engines I have, 2 Xing Dongs and a Jiang Dong and all three are identical.
However, I have none that are threaded. All three of mine are electric start, and all three have a cone with an "o" ring that just pushes into the socket
in the end plate.(http://listerengine.com/coppermine/displayimage.php?pid=4806#top_display_media)
I will attempt to post a pic of what I have. Hope it's of some help.
Ron.

Well, that didn't work did it?
I have the picture over at the Lister Engine Forum's coppermine account and I can't figure out how to link to it, so.......

or dropbox

The measurements are as follows
overall length from top of "cone" to end of the stick 8 1/2 inches
top of cone to add mark is 8 1/4 inches
top of cone to full mark is 5 5/8 inches
the cone itself is 11/16 long and fits flush with the hole.
Now as I said all of mine are electric start and the dipstick is down under the starter, so you may have to look close to find it - especially if
somebody broke the wire loop handle off it at some point. The threaded hole on my engines is above the starter, and is the oil fill.

Hope this helps.
Ron.
