Title: Changfa and Yanmar horizontal diesels cloned from what brand ?

 My apologies if this has been answered before .
The Chanfa horizontal is a clone of the Yanmar horizontal hopper cooled diesel . What engine(s) did Yanmar copy or were inspired by?

Some history shows they built their own horizontal back in the 30's however there were german models very similar around that time, so maybe they were influenced.

Yanmar probably a copy of German Deutz MAH horizontal singles.

The Polish Andoria horizontal single looks strikingly like a Deutz MAH too.
