Title: Princess Auto issues recall of 10 HP Chinese diesel engines

A voluntary recall like this might see some resistance like "You can have my Yanmar clone diesel engine when you can pry it from my cold dead fingers!"

And just what is the point? I can't believe that anyone would turn in their engine that is running and powering whatever satisfactorily, to have to go to another type of prime mover.
Oh well, as Forrest Gump said, "I'm not a smart man....".

They are avoiding prosecution, or just legally covering their ass, I suspect.

I know a fellow who works there.
Since the recall issue 2 months ago his store has had one engine returned.
It was very used....and a full credit was given.

Yes BruceM, Im pretty sure they are covering their rear ends and never expected many to return the engines.
