i am working on an idea, but i need to know who all has a 195 engine either di or idi
that is currently setup and either working or could be put into service without a lot of effort
on the owners part.
hopefully we have perhaps 6 or 8 owners in our group that fit this criteria,
what i would like to do is start to put together some tests that could be easily done by each of
you, so as to spread the work about so that we can get better numbers and arrive at some
consistant results.
i am just starting to form a plan in my head, but figured i should check first to see how many participants
we might have that would be willing to take part in a subgroup that is working on compiling some research
and development data.
so if interested post what you have, what it is driving in the way of a genhead and maybe any other pertinent
info you think might make your setup a bit different than the norm,
maybe answers to the following

what type and size genhead are your driving?_______
is in belt or direct driven?_________
are you driving any other components with the engine?_________
are you using thermosiphon or and enclosed system?________

Guess I have to come out of the closet - and no laughing, BOB! I just took my 295 AG out of the genshed and will be replacing it with an S195M Changfa clone. I expect to drive a 7.5ST head and will likely belt drive it using an 8 groove serpentine.
Might have to paint it though - that red and white looks so strange in a Listeroid genshed......

are you driving any other components with the engine? No
are you using thermosiphon or and enclosed system? Hopper Cooled
what fuel type have you tried? or are using? Off Road Diesel and 50% 15-40 and 50% Diesel.

New 195 with radiator, fan, and fuel tank removed.

what type and size genhead are your driving? Voltmaster AB50 rated 4kw continuous (Engine at 1300 rpm, head @ 3600 rpm)
is in belt or direct driven? 6 groove serpentine belt driving from flywheel OD.
are you driving any other components with the engine? No (well....yes....I'm "driving" my wife crazy ;D)
are you using thermosiphon or and enclosed system? Enclosed system (radiator and circ. pump)
what fuel type have you tried? or are using? Regular Diesel and Biodiesel
