Title: Recommendation for a good battery hydrometer
Post by: Randybee1 on August 25, 2013, 02:41:33 AM
Anyone have a recommendation for a "good" battery hydrometer? I've bought plenty over the years from auto parts stores only to have the bulb dry rot on me rather quickly. The last one I bought I made sure to rinse with water after using and it still only lasted about 2 years.

I have an EZ-Red hydrometer that has been in use for 4-5 years. I don't bother to rinse it and the bulb is fine. It's temp. compensated too.
