Title: GM 90 TRB's
Post by: gasman28110 on March 21, 2011, 07:41:23 AM
I posted this question on the other forum also. Does anyone have an "after market" part number for the TRB's in a GM 90 6-1?

Hi gasman,

Welcome to the forum.
Very useful to all GM90 owners.
Thanks very much for posting those numbers (Timken or equivalent I presume ?)
Is 32211 the number of the outer race or the inner race (or both ?)

cheers,
veggie

That is the number on the outer race. The clerk at the bearing shop said that that is the universal number for the complete bearing assy. Since it is a metric bearing you get both the inner and outer races with the bearing. I can try and post a picture of the old outer race if that will help. The new bearings will be of Japanese origin, just depends on whitch one is in stock.

Gasman,

How did the aftermarket bearings work out ?
Are they the correct size ?
