Title: waste oil air conditioninbg
Post by: Mark on July 18, 2010, 01:15:33 PM
I've been a big fan of oil fired heat [lenair 140 in shop and omni 90 boiler for house] for years, but never used an air conditioner.  Does anyone have comments or hands on with this system?

they look awfully large scale, for industrial use.  They pump chilled water, not freon, so you 'd have to get water radiators, rust inhibitor.....

But very interesting ...

Whoops - don''t let the inspector see you hook to a house  :  "environmentally safe ammonia absorption cooling process"

Which is why it stays outside and the chillwater is pumped inside:)
