You'd have to talk Coleman into producing it again...so probably around $5 million or so?  :o ;)

I definately wish I could buy one, though I think they were in the $500+ range a few years ago. There's one on ebay for $200, but it looks pretty rough...

Interesting, Zenoah makes a chainsaw rated at 1.3hp with what I'm assuming is the same 25cc engine.

I would also assume that is a much more conservative, long lasting HP estimate. Should be able to power a 35 amp or so alternator at the very least, right?

Here they list it as 2.44hp, though I'm sure I saw a power curve somewhere showing 3+hp...

They even have a water cooled version claiming 2.9hp:

That would be kind of cool, enough power to charge a battery and heat a few gallons of water for a shower at the same time. They sell water cooled exhaust parts, too...

I just wish I could come up with some electronics like the UltiMite charger has instead of an automotive alternator...
