Title: External Regulators
Post by: veggie on December 31, 2021, 08:41:08 AM
I understand that the external regulators like the Balmar are better for battery charging, but man are they ever expensive.
$500 here in Canada.
Does anyone know of other less expensive brands that can do a similar job.?

i haven't tested one of the sterling controllers, but i have no reason to believe they would not work well for out intended purpose.

i first came across them back in around '09 or so, when they were priced at around 90 bucks each, they have gone up some since then
but then again, the added cost might be the addition of the temp sensor? i don't recall if the 90 dollar units came with the sensor or not?
