Anyone a member of Classic Machinery Network forum?

If so I need some help getting my account activated.

I registered last weekend, but when I log in I get account not activated.  I've checked my SPAM folder but haven't received anything from CMN.  Their FAQ says contact an administrator but I can't find an email address for a forum admin.

I'm trying to download some manuals for an old tractor I own.

thanks

General Discussion / Colorado and New Mexico flooding
September 15, 2013, 08:57:52 AM
I hope any other members in Colorado or New Mexico are doing okay.

We've had close to 6" rainfall in the last 6 days, almost equivalent to our annual rainfall, and still have a chance of rain for a couple more days.  Included in the rain total is the 1.8" inches we got in ~ 30 minutes late last night.

I have a couple spots in the yard that are the beginnings of sinkholes.  I spent time this morning moving dirt into the depressions to make them higher than surrounding ground, going to fill some sand bags to berm around them.  Afterwards took the dogs for a walk and saw water running in irrigation ditches that should be empty.  The diversion from the river was cutoff in early August, so water must be flowing in to the ditches some where along the system.

I just want the rain to stop.

General Discussion / Dayton genhead question
August 23, 2013, 09:25:20 AM
This DAYTON generator/power head just showed up on local CL.  I can't find any info on the model on Graingers.  I know it's a 3600 rpm unit.

This morning I stumbled across this outfit , Infinity Turbine via reference from some grad students video posted on youtube.  There are some interesting ideas there, but contact info and who is behind it is vaguely unavailable.  Using Internet Archive Wayback Machine an older version of their web page, gets me the name of the person,Greg Giese , behind it.  A further Google search for "Greg Giese" finds his site on Crusing Review!?.  From there I track down some other work he's done with Ocean Ethanol - ORC Turbine

Anyway, I thought I'd post this before I lose track of it.  Perhaps other here will find it interesting.

General Discussion / shipping cross country
November 10, 2012, 08:38:13 AM
The back story.  I am trying to purchase a tractor and have been looking outside the Albuquerque NM area.    Used farm equipment goes for a premium here.

I've shipped cars across country using uShip.com to find a hauler.  I'm trying to do the same thing with a tractor, but the freight charge is above my threshold.  I'm not saying the quotes are to high, cause I don't do this often enough.  I am just looking for alternatives.

Anyone have any pointers to east to west freight haulers?

thanks
