I was dissapointed to find the Tesla batteries output 450vdc which rules them out for our 48vdc system. Although it looks like a LiFePo bank could be built for around the same $.
Ahhh, sounds like they are designed for commercial data center use.  IT data centers are moving to hi voltage DC systems.  It is somewhere around the corner for our data center.  The electrical infrastructure folks are also planning a natgas fuel cell backup system.

Yanmar probably a copy of German Deutz MAH horizontal singles.

The Polish Andoria horizontal single looks strikingly like a Deutz MAH too.

Anyone a member of Classic Machinery Network forum?

If so I need some help getting my account activated.

I registered last weekend, but when I log in I get account not activated.  I've checked my SPAM folder but haven't received anything from CMN.  Their FAQ says contact an administrator but I can't find an email address for a forum admin.

I'm trying to download some manuals for an old tractor I own.

thanks

I haven't looked inside either of my Changfa's but found the following in the manual.  I'm looking at a diagram in the R185 manual and it shows "Crankshaft timing gear", "Camshaft timing gear" and "Counterbalance shaft gear".  Then it states the following, "Counterbalance shaft gear driven.  Which would lead me to believe the camshaft is not driven off the counterbalance gear.  I also found the manual online, here, Changfa 185 manual  where it clearly shows two separate gears on the crankshaft, one for timing gear, other for counterbalance.

Hopes this helps.

Yeah, but they can sure fly those UAVs.

Quote from: vdubnut62 on December 26, 2014, 07:09:07 PMI tried to hire a fellow to cut some firewood for me since I mangled my shoulder, he took his chainsaw to the shop to get it sharpened, cut 2 sticks, stuck the bar in the ground,
and bitched that the shop didn't do a good job sharpening his saw. ::)
Say, anybody wanna cut up some firewood for me? ;D
Ron.

We have lots of hardworking folks in New Mexico who do physical labor, unfortunately a lot of them are not here legally.  Not all are illegal, there's a guy who immigrated from Honduras 25 years ago who does a lot of field hand work for folks in the neighborhood.

I had to go back to Kentucky to visit family to see teenagers working in fast food joints.

Will continue as long as ISIS steals crude oil and dumps it on the market to raise every possible $$$ to fiance war.

Sorry, but what ISIS dumps on the market is just a drop in the bucket compared to worldwide consumption.

There are a lot of OPEC nations that are pumping more than their "quotas".  Venezuela needs $120/bbl to fund gov't handouts, they are pumping like crazy to make up the difference.  Russia is having a hard time selling on the intl market, China is taking advantage of Russia's current sanction issues by buying more from Russia, but even their consumption is decreasing as their construction boom slows dramatically.

Plus there really is a lot more US oil getting pumped out of the ground.  Eastern New Mexico has been in a drilling fueled economic boom, fast food joints are having to pay $15/hour for entry level jobs and they can't fill them.  However with crude price plummeting, oil revenues to State gov't is now less than 50% what was forecast when budget was made.

Yanmar was one of the earlier companies to clone this engine from the "White" which may have been an original ?. Yanmar parts may fit ?

I always thought Yanmar derived their designs from the Deutz MAH line of diesel, not Witte.

I have.

Aliexpress, is a retail frontend for alibaba.com.  Alibaba does not sell anything, they are a online bazaar.  There are probably millions of retailers selling on alibaba.com / aliexpress.  I've had a good experience buying product, but it is just as likely you could have a bad experience.
