I've been using wvo for several years now. i bought a 60gal per hr centrifuge kit, which entailed a 1200 band heater.
the band heater uses to much power from my off grid system.
so i got to thinking. I had made an boiler that i fired with wood to heat water [in the winter] for bathing.
worked great for that. why wouldn't it work for heating oil.
well it works great.
what it is , a 25gal barrel with 1" pipe passing through the barrel 6 passes.
just build a fire in the barrel [boiler] bring the oil up to temp of 160 deg, let the fire go out .
be sure your circulating back to your process tank.
run your centrifuge in bypass until the oil temp reaches 140 deg.
any way that's how i do it now.
might give someone some ides.
have a good one.
