I am looking to install one of these on my S195 genset once the oiling system is worked over.
It uses a standard Motocraft FL1A filter or equivelent.

Did anyone else find another setup roughly the same or have other ideas?

Here is a Perkins 402C-05 parts manual this should be useful:
If you need one, download the pdf file while you still can.

I thought I might as well start somthing here so here goes.

I like to get the balls rolling on what high quality bearings some of you might of used in the ST gen-heads and how they are lasting under use. What might be best quality for a decent price and where to buy them. Another thing is the installation of the bearings. What to look for. And tips on replacement.

I am getting ready to start my new project. The engine will be the CATERPILLAR Model C0.5 two cylinder in-line diesel engine running two Leece-Neville 110-555JHO 12/14 Volt 160 Amps Alternators. I believe this will be a fun project. This unit should be very compact when completed.
I welcome your input guys.

General Discussion / How to attach pictures.
September 21, 2009, 08:22:13 PM
This form is great. Attaching pictures is easy!! 8)

Here are some simple steps:

1.  After your finished writing look down at the bottom left corner you will see a plus sign in a box. Next to the box it says Additional Options.

2.  Click on the box with the plus sign or on the words Additional Options you will see the plus change to a minus.

3.  You will also see the additional options drop down. One of the additional options you will see in bold letters is the word Attach.

4.  Look to the right and you will see a tab that says Browse. Klick on Browse and your pictures in My Documents or My Pictures open up. Choose your picture.

5.  Once you have the picture listed click on the tab that says post and the picture should be attached to your post.

6.  Note: You are allowed to attach four pictures at one time. Just click on the words more attachments to the right of the Browse tab. Every time you click on more attachments another place will open for another attachment up to a total of four.

Another thing we need to go over is how to enlarge an attached picture. Well this is easy. Just click on the picture to enlarge it. And to shrink it just click on it again. Try it out on the picture below.

Well this is it. We are looking forward to see some great pictures of your work.
